Casa Blue Wind's Prime Location
CBW is centrally and conveniently located in the Heart of Manuel Antonio perched upon one of the area's highest points. Our Villa is on the same road and adjacent to the well known Hotel La Mariposa.
Casa Blue Wind is one of the best positioned homes in Manuel Antonio for vacationers. Our Property's entrance is just 200 meters off the main and only North/South road connecting the fishing village of Quepos and the Manuel Antonio National Park and main beach recreation area. This provides our Guests super quick and easy access to the main transportation artery to walk to many of Manuel Antonio's businesses or beaches, or catch a taxi or bus day or night to anywhere in Manuel Antonio or Quepos area.

The local Quepos Airport is a fifteen 15 minute ride from CBW. The international airport in San Jose ("SJO") is a 2 1/2 hour drive to and/or from CBW.
Our Villa is within 2 to 10 minutes walking distance to many different local restaurants, cafes, bars, sports bars, adventure tour operators, hotels, shops, day-spas, casinos, pizza parlors, art galleries, gift shops, grocery stores with wines and liquor, a pharmacy, 2 banks with currency exchange services and 24-hour ATM access and more.
Quepos offers many different additional choices of restaurants, cafes, bars, adventure tour operators, supermarkets, specialty food stores, a warehouse food store (MaxiPali), gift shops, boutiques, Internet outlets and car rental agencies (Hertz, Alamo, Payless).
The town also has 3 pharmacies, a small cinema, multiple hardware stores, a gym (cardio, aerobics, machines and free weights), 2 DVD rental stores, a soccer field and basketball court, a few churches, an after-hours discotheque (Arco Iris), a deep water marina for Quepos' world class sport fishing fleet, fishing tackle stores, a scuba charter service, a cigar store, a bus station, and a charming Farmer's Market along the marina's waterfront on Saturday's.

Geography, Travel Times & Distances
Costa Rica is located in the Southern end of Central America above Panama and below Nicaragua. It is in the Central Time Zone (Dallas Standard Time).
Manuel Antonio is situated seven 7 kilometers South of the fishing village of Quepos on the Central Pacific Coast.
Manuel Antonio's a 25 minute flight on Sansa Airlines (www.flysansa.com) from San Jose's "Juan Santamaria" international airport ("SJO") to the Quepos Airport ("XQP").
It's a scenic 2 1/2 hour drive from San Jose to Manuel Antonio through small towns, beautiful valley and mountain view passes, and the coastal highway.

Most major American car rental agencies have outlets at or near SJO. Many provide 1-way drop off service from the airport to their Manuel Antonio or Quepos outlets.
You can also choose from many different local professional ground shuttle service providers. They will transport your group door-to-door from SJO to Casa Blue Wind and back to the airport. Our property manager would be happy to arrange your shuttle services free of charge.
The roads from San Jose to Manuel Antonio and Quepos are fully paved with good directional signage. The new highway between San Jose and the coastal transition route is complete and has made the drive much easier and faster.
